A new name for Nature Research

Berlin | London | New York, 03 December 2020

Following feedback from both internal and external communities, the decision has been taken to rename our Nature Research imprint Nature Portfolio. This name change reflects how it has developed, and the way in which the community views and engages with the imprint – as a portfolio of journals and services supporting the mission of our flagship journal, Nature. By choosing a name that better reflects what our imprint is, we aim to simplify our messaging and make it easier to identify the journals and services it is home to. This change is a renaming and does not alter the products included in the imprint.

Nature’s mission, vision and outreach remains at the heart of what we do. Since its launch, it has provided a platform through which to communicate, debate and engage with the central scientific issues of our day. From this flagship title, through the breadth of our journals and services, this remains unchanged. Our renaming to Nature Portfolio strengthens our commitment to that mission and our promise to support, advance and champion science.
