Springer Nature at the Frankfurt Book Fair 2022 - once again physically and virtually present

Springer Nature will once again have a stand at the Frankfurt Book Fair in 2022, offering live events and new videos online for the community.

London | Heidelberg, 12th October 2022

Springer Nature invites its business partners and all those interested in science topics to its stand at the Frankfurt Book Fair, F10, in the Science Hall (hall 4.2). Over the course of the fair, from 19 to 23 October 2022, staff and colleagues from the Springer Nature Group will be taking part in one of the world's most prominent industry exchanges. The focus will be on future-oriented projects for the promotion of science as well as topics related to innovative and international science communication.

The online presence of Springer Nature will also be part of this year's presence at the fair. Its progressive content aims to enable interested parties once again to inform themselves online about current topics and trends in the community. The range of topics address the latest trends in digital solutions for researchers, explores the latest research on the biggest trends impacting the ever changing sector of the publishing industry, and the role that publishers can and should be playing in championing DEI in academia.

At the fair, the focus will be on popular science trends and topics on Saturday and Sunday. Experts and authors of selected books published in German will present their theses and works directly at the stand. All events are offered free of charge, and wearing a mask is obligatory for participation. An overview of the live events and further details can be found here: Saturday, 22.10.2022 | Sunday, 23.10.2022.

"We have chosen the motto 'Re-connect with our community' for our on-site presence at the fair this year, explains Uschi Kidane, Head of Communications Professional, who is coordinating the industry event this year. She continues: "Even though we have maintained contact with our publishing partners, colleagues and the community worldwide over the past two and a half years of the pandemic. It is obvious that there is a clear sense that people want to meet in person and exchange ideas face to face again this year."
