Nature Conference will be held under the High Patronage of the President of the French Republic
Recognition highlights the importance of convening trusted spaces where research, policy and practice can intersect
London | Heidelberg | New York, 30 June 2026
Springer Nature’s upcoming Nature Conference, Redefining Healthcare in the Age of AI, organised in partnership with the Paris Institute for Transplantation & Organ Regeneration (PITOR), will be held under the High Patronage of Mr Emmanuel Macron, President of the French Republic.
This distinction, granted by the Élysée Palace, is reserved for initiatives of national or international significance. It reflects the importance of advancing scientific innovation and healthcare, and the role of global collaboration in addressing complex challenges.
The High Patronage highlights the importance of convening trusted spaces where research, policy and practice intersect.
Richard Hughes, VP Publishing, Nature, for Springer Nature said:
“Supporting researchers is at the heart of what we do, not only through publishing trusted research, but by creating platforms that bring together global expertise, foster cross-disciplinary dialogue, and help translate scientific insights into real-world solutions. We are honoured that this conference will be held under the High Patronage of Mr Emmanuel Macron, President of the French Republic, and support turning research into visible, actionable, real-world impact.”
The conference will take place in Paris from 8-10 September 2026 and will bring together international experts, including Nobel laureates Philippe Aghion and Alvin Roth, alongside leaders from Inserm, Université Paris Cité, APHP, INSERM, Google DeepMind, Stanford, Cambridge, and ETH Zurich, to explore the role of artificial intelligence in transforming healthcare.
Further details about the conference can be found here. The conference is part of Nature conferences, which marks its 20th anniversary this year.
