American Academy of Sleep Medicine selects Springer Nature as publisher for its journal

The Journal of Clinical Sleep Medicine, a leading journal in the field of sleep research, complements the publisher’s portfolio of medical journals

New York | 26 August 2025 - Springer Nature has been chosen as the new publishing partner for the American Academy of Sleep Medicine’s (AASM) premier journal, The Journal of Clinical Sleep Medicine. Dedicated to research with direct relevance to clinical sleep medicine practice and a vital resource for clinicians, researchers, and healthcare professionals in the field, The Journal of Clinical Sleep Medicine will begin publishing under the Springer Nature imprint starting in January 2026.


This new collaboration builds on Springer Nature and the American Academy of Sleep Medicine’s commitment to evidence-based high-quality research that can expand public knowledge around specialty health issues.


Established in 1975, AASM represents over 9,500 members and 2,300 dedicated sleep centers. The American Academy of Sleep Medicine and the Journal of Clinical Sleep Medicine provide key platforms that advance sleep medicine research and sleep disorders treatment.
