Springer Nature Announces Transformative Agreement with Binghamton University
The three-year agreement will ensure eligible researchers share their findings with a broader audience at no additional cost
New York, 20 August 2026 – Springer Nature has reached a new Transformative Agreement with Binghamton University, allowing researchers to publish Open Access (OA) in the Springer hybrid portfolio encompassing a wide range of subject areas including engineering, biomedical and life sciences, chemistry and materials science. The three-year agreement also allows Binghamton-affiliated researchers read access in Springer, Palgrave, Academic Journals on nature.com, as well as the Adis journals.
